It’s a first time Halloween event at the St. George Art Museum. Spooky Lights and Pumpkin Frights from 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 is an opportunity for Halloween-lovers to pull out all the stops to carve, paint or decorate the spookiest, funniest or most creative jack-o-lantern for a community display-to-end-all-community-displays on the grounds of the SGAM.
Of course, the St. George Art Museum’s “first ever” Halloween event – in addition to pumpkin artists – will also need pumpkin art lovers. There is no charge for this event, although some of the area’s food trucks are invited to bring their specialty-on-wheels for your gastronomic delight. And, you’ll also want to see the current art-on-show inside the museum – particularly the works of Ron Larson, who has for more than 40 years has captured the American Southwest on canvas; and, Stewart Seidman whose modern art designs are created on FedEx envelopes.
Spooky Lights and Pumpkin Frights is another fun activity to experience while vacationing in Southern Utah.
