Neil Simon’s Biloxi Blues
The Neil Simon Festival in Cedar City, Utah exists to provide accessible, entertaining theatrical experiences to excite the imagination and nourish a lifelong passion for the theatre … as it preserves and honors the works of playwright Neil Simon and his contemporaries while fostering the development of new American plays following the Simon tradition of character-driven plots and comic introspection as part of the American experience.
Biloxi Blues is the 3rd masterpiece in Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach trilogy and is the winner of the 1985 Tony Award for Best Play.
Eugene Jerome is a young Army recruit in a WWII boot camp where in 1943 Biloxi, Mississippi he is learning about the harsh lessons about life and love.
