There are amazing tenor voices your memory can conjure up by the mere mention of their names: Luciana Pavoratti, Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli or Paul Potts. On Friday, August 11, on stage at the O. C. Tanner Amphitheater in Springdale – outside the gates of spectacular Zion National Park – you’ll enjoy the outstanding performance of another memorable voice. A classically trained tenor, Nathan Pacheco will be featured with the American Heritage Lyceum Orchestra.

Pacheco has been the featured artist with some of the world’s most recognizable musical groups including the National Symphony and the famed Mormon Tabernacle Choir and performed for sold-out audiences throughout Europe as well as in North and South America. He has also shared the stage with such amazing talents as David Archuleta, Renee Fleming, Yanni, Katherine Jenkins, Lindsay Stirling and many others among the music industry’s best known performers.

Pacheco’s 3rd solo album Higher was released in February 2017 following close on the heels of his 2nd and #1 Billboard Album A New Creation in 2016 in which he was featured with pianist Paul Cardell and the American Heritage Lyceum Philharmonic.

The American Heritage Lyceum Philharmonic, one of the nation’s premier youth orchestras and named “Best of the State of Utah” for 7 consecutive years (2009-2015), is an audition-only ensemble for advanced high-school-aged musicians.

You may not recognize their name outside of Utah, but the Lyceum Philharmonic’s debut performance of “Beethoven’s 5 Secrets” with the world-renowned internet sensations The Piano Guys in 2011 was a multi-million, worldwide viewed music video.

This premiere youth orchestra began in 1987 as The Lyceum Chamber Ensemble under the baton of Denise Willey. With her direction, they performed side-by-side with the Utah Symphony and the Utah Valley Symphony. In 2006, The Lyceum Chamber Ensemble joined The Music School in American Fork and became the Lyceum Repertory Orchestra. Current director Kayson Brown added winds and brass to the outstanding core of strings. When The Music School closed in 2008, the Lyceum Orchestra joined the music programs of the American Heritage School, based in American Fork, UT.
