christmas tree

Dixie Regional Medical Center’s Jubilee of Trees holiday fundraiser, which opens on Thursday, November 16 and runs through Monday, November 21, holiday fundraiser is a longstanding tradition here in Dixie.  Scheduled every year since 1981 on the weekend before Thanksgiving, the Jubilee of Trees can unquestionably be considered the “official kickoff of the holiday season.”

This year, with a theme of “The Future is Bright” … particularly in regards to cancer research and treatment at the Intermountain Health Care’s Precision Cancer Genomics Program, funds raised through the sale of exquisitely decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and ginger bread houses will be donated directly to support this new approach to treating cancer. Considered a fundamental shift from traditional cancer treatment, this approach has been proven to increase the lifespan of late-stage cancer patients at a lower cost than traditional methods.

In its 36th successful year raising funds for DRMC’s progressive medical programs, the Jubilee of Trees will once again feature a gala dinner and auction of incredible trees; a concert on November 15 by the Bar J Wranglers; a Teddy Bear picnic for the kiddies; and of course, the very popular fashion show and auction.

Tickets are only $5 per person with all proceeds going toward cancer research and treatment here in Southern Utah.
