Among the numerous activities that can be found while visiting Southern Utah, the following is the top ten that tourists and residents enjoy here.

1.)    Go fishing- From rivers and lakes to reservoirs and streams, Southern Utah is a great place to do a little fishing. If bass is your fish of choice, one of the nation’s best places to catch bass and striped bass is Lake Powell, located on the border of Utah and Arizona. Other lakes and streams in the area are known for rainbow and brown trout, in addition to many other types of fish.

2.)    Take a scenic drive- With so many plateaus, canyons, and cliffs, there is no shortage of picturesque drives where every route is the scenic route. One of the most popular routes is to Cedar Mountain Plateau where visitors can experience a 360 degree view of diverse landscapes and terrain.

3.)    Visit a National Park- Southern Utah boasts some of the best national and state parks in our nation. The unique and ancient geographical features make visits to any one of the five major national parks an experience to remember. 4.)    Take a hike – Some of the best hiking trails in the world can be found in Red Rock country. Whether you are an advanced hiker or just a beginner, Southern Utah offers an experience for anyone. Almost all of the national and state parks have multiple hiking trails to explore, and each one offers a different scene with varying levels of difficulties.
