Now in its 17th year, the St. George Art Museum’s annual Soup N’ Bowl fundraising luncheon and auction will, once again, be a treat for your taste buds as well as your eyes. Soup N’ Bowl, one of two fundraisers held annually to support museum programs, will be serving up a delicious lunch and your choice of a beautiful ceramic bowl. There will also be fabulous art to take home in a silent auction as well as musical entertainment on Friday, March 2, 2018, from 11 am to 1:30 pm at the Pioneer Center for the Arts at 47 E. 200 North in St. George … all for just $25 per person.
The silent auction will give attendees a chance to bid on pottery made by local professional potters and pieces from several ceramic artist participants in the St. George Art Festival. Funds raised will be used to purchase art works to add to 863 pieces already in the St. George Art Museum’s permanent collection.
Your ticket price will also give you FREE admission to the St. George Art Museum where the art works of Dana Russell, Sayaka Ganz and Milton Goldstein are currently on display through April 28, 2018. Russell’s show Metal Mash Up is a portion of his amazing recycled metal in the Main Gallery until May 18. Sayaka Ganz’s work is plastics recycled in a different way. Her display – Reclaimed Creations – can be seen in the Mezzanine Gallery; and, Milton Goldstein’s Pristine Land is now part of the museum’s permanent collection and is on display in the Legacy Gallery … all which can be enjoyed for FREE as part of the $25 ticket price for the Soup-N-Bowl event.
